Albuquerque police looking for Walmart shooting suspects, ID victim

BBSNews 2015-01-19 — By Michael Hess. Sunday night the Albuquerque police responded to a shooting at a in the city’s Northeast at the Walmart in the 2500 block of Coors NWst at about 9:00 PM MST. The APD said that they had responded to a fight in progress, shots were fired as they were responding. They arrived at the scene finding a 22 year-old man who had been shot. He was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead.

After locating next of kin the man was identified by police as Angelo Martinez. Police are working to identify suspects in the case and still assessing video on Monday. Police will release the video when that video is processed.
