Sixteen Percent Of Israelis Say Hamas Won Latest War

BBSNews 2014-08-28 — By Michael Hess. In a poll from Haaretz reported on by Time, sixteen percent of Israelis believe Hamas won this latest Israeli War on Gaza. According to the report:

The Haaretz poll questioned 464 Israelis on Wednesday and had a margin of error of 4.6 percent. While 54 percent said there was no clear-cut winner, some 25 percent of respondents said Israel had won the war, while 16 percent believed Hamas had prevailed. The remaining 5 percent of those surveyed were undecided.

And Benjamin Netanyahu bragged on Israeli State TV (there is a military censor in Israel who controls the flow of all information out of the rogue state) that “Hamas was hit hard, and it received not one of the demands it set forth for a cease-fire, not one.”

In short, Bibi is begging for further fighting because he intends to keep up the long-running Crime Against Humanity, the siege of Gaza, the world’s largest open-air prison, kept that way by Israeli Jews who are now adopting “Neo-Nazi” insignia in their quest to oppress, kill, and drive out the rightful owners of Palestine. According to an ad taken out in the New York Times by 360 Holocaust survivors and their descendants.

The text from the ad is as follows:

Jewish Survivors and descendants of survivors and victims of Nazi genocide unequivocally condemn the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza

As Jewish Survivors and descendants of survivors and victims of the Nazi genocide we unequivocally condemn the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza and the ongoing occupation and colonization of historic Palestine. We further condemn the United States for providing Israel with the funding to carry out such an attack, and Western states more generally for using their diplomatic muscle to prevent Israel from condemnation. Genocide begins with the silence of the world.

We are alarmed by the extreme, racist dehumanizing of Palestinians in Israeli society, which has reached a fever-pitch. In Israel, politicians and pundits in the Times of Israel and the Jerusalem Post have called openly for genocide of Palestinians and right-wing Israeli are adopting Neo-Nazi insignia.

Furthermore, we are disgusted and outraged by Elie Wiesel’s abuse of our history in these pages to justify the unjustifiable: Israel’s wholesale effort to destroy Gaza and the murder of more than 2,000 Palestinians, including many hundreds of children. Nothing can justify bombing UN shelters, homes, hospitals and universities. Nothing can justify depriving people of electricity and water.

We must raise our collective voices and use our collective power to bring about an end to all forms of racism, including the ongoing genocide of Palestinian people. We call for an immediate end to the siege and blockade of Gaza. We call for the full economic, cultural and academic boycott of Israel. “Never again” must mean NEVER AGAIN FOR ANYONE!

The prolonging of this decades long Crime Against Humanity by Israel is and has predictably caused resistance and that resistance is simply going to grow stronger and stronger until there is a conflagration against Israel of its own making. Further, we here in the United States are being endangered by our government that not only condones Israeli violence but bankrolls the entire evil operation from the ongoing illegal occupations to the periodic massacres by Israel of innocent Palestinians that Israel keeps under the jackboot of violent colonialism and land and resource theft. But I repeat myself.

Israel must be brought to justice and then the need for resistance by the oppressed and often murdered population of the Occupied Palestinian Territories can come to a peaceful end.
